There are only our few regular devices showing, as there should be, but there is now (as of today) “HonHaiPr Device” that I noticed prior to switching (thought changing would take care of it) that showed up again! Thought maybe it was Alexa even though my daughter got it in December.so why would it just start reflecting in Feb? but also being most people are saying it is a android device, BUT I then noticed that it spikes at 7pm and then again progressively between 2-4am, to over 5 MB (highest measure on the chart in Home Access)? So can’t be Alexa and now feel that this needs to be addressed. I decided to set up two different accesses (home and guest) thinking I would be able to better identify what was using so much data. So ATT said I needed a new router and we just installed 4 days ago. It increased so much to where we are exceeding our plan and it has been costing me more than $100 more per month since. Something changed this past Feb with our data consumption in our home. I’m not a techy person.someone has to have an answer on this with this many people having this concern.
Please reply with some more information to help with a solution. Is your home Smart enabled? Do you use home assistants, robovaccums, smart bulbs, home sensors or a security system? Many connected devices today use remote controls that use a Wi-FI (WI-FI Direct) to connect to and control the device, instead of IR.
